so much!!

so much has happened!
on october 16 i went in for my 18 month check up.  its not quite 18 months, but they scheduled it, so i went with it.  the day started with an MRI.  uneventful, although the MRI tech told me to take off all my clothes except for my undies.  yay!  she said undies and therefore is my absolute favorite MRI tech, even though she kinda hurt me when putting in the IV.  after the MRI i went and had the blood work done.  they took a bunch of blood then they push something else back in and then we wait for 30 minutes and then they take some more out.  since i already had the IV, they didn't have to put in another one, but i was pretty happy to get it taken out.  next i went and hung out in the cafeteria for a few hours and did some work.  eventually it was time go see the endo.  they already had some of my blood work back which was fine but then stuff we had been tracking, like the growth hormone, tough actin prolactin and thyroid weren't back yet.  we talked about how i am feeling and all that.  my biggest complaint is the weight i am gaining and the body composition - fatty fatty.  everything has turned to fat and i'm not converting to muscle.  add that to some of my memory issues and the "crashes" i have and there is some concern.  as for crashes, i mean, like i got up at like 530 and went to the gym and then went to work.  nothing out of the ordinary there.  but then by 9am i was like wow, i need to go to sleep.  now this has happened in the past.  usually i'll be in a meeting and i can't keep my eyes open, i usually attribute it to low blood sugar because it usually happens mid afternoon.  but this time i was like, dude, i can't do it.  so i went home.  i was in bed by 10.  slept until 12:30, was up for like 2 hours doing work and having lunch.  slept another 3 hours.  got up for some dinner and hang with the kids for like 2-3 hours then back in bed and asleep until morning.  and then there was last week.  i got home from work, laid down to take a nap at 6pm and slept until 8am the next morning.  i don't have general fatigue, but i have those sleep crashes.  turns out the tough actin prolactin is still going up, and thyroid and growth hormone are starting to fall.  i am opting to not go on medication yet, but probably in the next 6 months or so.
so that was wednesday.  glad it all came through ok because on saturday, yes saturday, my mom, xtie and i loaded up and went to iceland!!  OMG, iceland it the most fabulous place ever.  i want to find someway to live there.  it was so clean, beautiful and i felt so alive while i was there.  SO AMAZING.

yikes!  the bloggers won't let me post any more photos!!
