omg, i am almost fordy. so not thrilled about that.
lets see what else is new! so i broke up with the coach and then almost immediately went out drinking vodka with him and his wife! i could get used to our new relationship!
i have done a few new things! i went to hot yoga! a new place opened up by us and a friend wanted to check it out, so i went too. it was fun. and hot. i'd like to do it more but have to figure out what i am going to do. i still have my gym membership that has its own hot yoga, but even tho we aren't allowed to talk in yoga class i like taking it with amy. eric has already discussed canceling his gym membership. neither of us have gone in forever. but maybe when school is out and eric is done working on people's houses he will take the kids swimming. i want to try a hot yoga class there too. eric has taken them and said they are pretty good. i also took a ballet class! holy crap my legs are all messed up! while it wasn't cardiovascularly difficult by any means, and my legs didn't feel worked in a fatigued way after, they certainly felt worked in a i have zero ability to twist them or move them around or anything type of way. and my feet totally cramped up from all that tenduing. oh and then we had to run across the floor and do this funny little jump thing and i was a mess. but it was ok. i have 6 more lessons on my punch card. i was planning on going tomorrow but liz is in town!!
at my volunteer gig i have not folded like 1500 brochures! three weeks straight of folding! i like to fold. i am good at it too!! today however, i addressed 60 envelopes, and put stamps and return address labels on them! and i stuffed 90 envelopes, too. i do enjoy being there! its a great way to start the week.
i went in for my 2 year check up. not quite 2 years but close enough. no mri, but all the blood work. still waiting on some, but the cortisol is fine, which is awesome. and some other things were fine, too. but waiting on the tough actin prolactin which we know is getting messed up, the growth hormone and thyroid that we suspect are getting messed up. they are quite interested to see what my lack of training will do to my growth hormone. i am wondering if it was a weird growth hormone abberation from the tumor that caused me to get so lean a few years back and really had nothing to do with my extreme awesomeness. i was working hard sure, but i wasn't watching what i was eating. even back then i suspected it was a hormonal thing, i even asked my gyno if it was being caused by my IUD.
easter happened yesterday. we watched seamus's two lacross games in the rain on saturday - she scored 3 goals!! previously she was hesitant about to shoot on goal because sh didn't want to miss, but in the 2nd game she shot and scored and then she just kept shooting! glad we got her over that hurdle.
then we drove out to ellensburg. we hiked around our property for a bit. it was a bit cold and windy, and we tried unsucessfully to find a property boundry or two. we headed to yakima. we had colored 53 eggs on friday, so we had them in a cooler, and we got to grandma and grandpa's quite late, so we unloaded the kids and they pretty much crawled right into bed.
apparently they weren't terribly tired because they woke up at like 6am. i managed to stay in bed for another hour or more until the smell of the crispiest, perfectly cooked bacon convinced me to get out of bed.
the kids were super excited to start the egg hunt!! sirus is no doubt the most excited egg hunter in the world. every egg is a HUGE discovery with lots of yelling and screaming and telling us all about the egg he just found. then it is off to the next one. but while he is doing all of this, seamus is speed deamoning around finding all of the eggs. then they quickly moved on to building the egg rolling track. they didn't spend as much time rolling the eggs this year, but the cousins did come over and rolled with them, which was fun. until the older cousin got on the 4 wheeler, started driving around and the younger ones started throwing the eggs at her! after cooking hot dogs and smores over the fire for lunch, we packed up the car and headed back up to ellensburg. we met the neighbors to our immediate east. they had a baby goat with them! the goat lives in their house, uses a little box and traveled in the car with them. baby goat butts are weird looking but baby goats are adorable!!
